Born in 1971, William Young writes, researches and teaches on environmental, ethical and sustainable development issues facing business and consumers. He currently lectures in the School of the Environment at the University of Leeds in the UK, where he runs an MA Environment and Business course.
He has experience in advising British and international organisations drafting environmental management standards as well as companies on environmental and ethical issues.

Born in 1960, Richard Welford has been an academic for over 15 years. He has written many books on all aspects of environmental management and ethics in business and is the founder and editor of a suite of academic journals concerning sustainable development.
As well as being an academic Richard has worked as a consultant to a number of large international corporations. His mixture of academic and practical experience makes him one of the leading experts worldwide on the new ethical and environmental issues impacting on business.
